What is Real Estate Therapy?

Okay, as Real Estate  Professional , who deals with Real Estate everyday, I am pretty comfortable about talking about it and listening to people's various issues concerning it. With the kind of market we are experiencing now, it is pretty clear people have a lot of anxiety about Real Estate.

I started this blog to help with those issues that are the hardest things to talk about, but can make you and those close to you feel crazy, insecure and scared.

For years Real estate was pretty predictable for most people. You buy a house. You get a 30 year mortgage or some pretty reasonable and understandable adjustable rate mortgage. You enjoy your home and then life changes and you decide to sell your house. There were plenty of people who wanted to buy homes and the market for homes just flowed. Generally, you made a profit and you then went out and bought a more expensive home (usually bigger or a different neighborhood that met your changed life) or you retired and moved somewhere cheaper to live and banked the money as part of your retirement plan.

This was the Real Estate theory we all bought into for many many years. Now the world has changed, "the cheese has moved", and  the rules or lack thereof have changed too. It's normal all of us would have feelings associated with this change that makes  us feel a little nutty. My hope is by you all writing into my blog we can walk this path together an remain sane while we do it.
